Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Alteryx Consultant with advanced skills in ML and Data Engineering to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Alteryx, with the ability to design, develop, and optimize complex workflows, as well as extensive experience in data engineering pipelines and advanced ML models. You will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decisions, streamlining data processes, and driving predictive analytics initiatives across the organization.

Experience Level:  

• Minimum 7 years on Data Engineering and Data Science, Minimum 3 years with Alteryx.

• “Alteryx Designer Expert”,  “Altery Predictive Master Expert”, “Alteryx Server Administrator” certifications are preferred.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.

 

Requirements:

• Expert-level proficiency with Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, Alteryx Intelligent Suite

• Knowledge of Alteryx ML Tools and integration with Python and R.

• Proven Data Engineering Skills and Experience

• Experience with data engineering tools and concepts (e.g., SQL, Spark, Kafka, cloud-based environments like AWS or Azure).

• Demonstrated ability to handle large-scale data infrastructure and develop scalable ETL solutions.

• Utilize Alteryx’s predictive tools or integrate Python/R-based models into Alteryx workflows.

• Perform feature engineering, model evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning to improve performance.

• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy models into production and ensure they operate at scale.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Analysts, BI Developers, Data Scientists) to identify data needs and support decision-making.

•  Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.

•  Strong communication and presentation skills.

•  Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

•  Proven leadership or mentoring experience.
